In a game for the baseball purist, Randy Johnson(17-5) and Derek Lowe(16-7)
squared off in a tense pitching duel, streaking Jefferson Park Penguins
finally emerged victorious over Tombstone Huckleberries, 2 to 0.
 
Jefferson Park brought 2 runs across the plate in the 2nd inning.  After two
were out Dave Ross kicked off the action when he drew a walk.  Marco Scutaro
stepped up next and he doubled.  Derek Jeter then laced a base-hit scoring
two baserunners.  That scoring would be all that was needed.  The pitchers
took over after the 2nd inning as neither team was able to score again.
 
Scott Feldman recorded the save, his 1st.  It was another victory for
Jefferson Park at the ballpark.  Now their winning streak stands at 7 games.
